Whitehaven Sailing & Boating Association is pleased to welcome Rod Eglin to our team of RYA Instructors. Rod is an
experienced medic, both military and industrial, with his medical skills recently being used on humanitarian and medical support overseas. Rod, also a keen leisure sailor, is now in a position to pass on his first aid knowledge to his fellow sailors.
Would you know how to deal with an unconscious casualty after the boom caught him/her on the head? Can you really cope with
rapid onset hypothermia, after recovering a man over board? Learn these skills and many more by enrolling on our RYA First Aid
Training course. This qualification is also compulsory for anybody taking an RYA Yachtmaster Practical exam.
