We will be going to the Lifeboat station at St
Bees on Saturday 17th March- at about 11am to
present a cheque for £500 from the money raised at our presentation
night in November. Some of the crew will be there to show us the
lifeboat and station and anyone is very welcome to come along.
To mark the start of the season we then plan
to have a lunch at the Manor House in St Bees (main Street left hand
side) We can just choose from the bar menu on the day so if it’s a
fine day just a bowl of soup and back to the boat jobs or if it’s
wet and windy three courses and a few drinks! So we don’t need exact
numbers but the pub would like an idea if it will be 6 or 60 so could
you let me know sometime next week if you are interested. Thanks
We shall also be going to Workington RNLI on a
Sunday morning soon to present their cheque and see what goes on at
their practice session, I’ll let you have the date when it is
conformed
